American Airlines will award a vacation package for 10 to Curaçao in the Southern Caribbean. The grand prize includes round-trip coach air transportation and accommodations at the all-inclusive Breezes Curaçao Resort, Spa and Casino courtesy of American Airlines Vacations. The sweepstakes will end March 31.

Holland America Line, a premium cruise line, will introduce new itineraries and more ships to its South American and Antarctic businesses in 2009. Passengers can choose among 18 cruise ships and tour glaciers and fjords in Chile, the coast and islands off Antarctica as well as Iguazú Falls, Peru’s Machu Picchu and the Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil.

The Hotel Marquis Reforma & Spa hotel in Mexico City is offering through March 17 the Castilla-La Mancha cuisine festival in its La Jolla restaurant. The event, run in coordination with the El Bodegón restaurant, will feature Spanish dishes prepared by chef Rubén Sánchez.

VGR, a Brazilian airline, said it has begun selling tickets for a new São Paulo-Madrid route. The carrier services the route daily.

Argentina said the number of U.S. tourists visiting the country grew by 35% from 2005 to 2007, with 430,000 arriving in the country. The Argentina Tourism Office said it expects the number to rise even further in 2008, breaking records.

Lodge Kura Hulanda & Beach Club, a five-star boutique resort on the west end of Curaçao, has broken ground on its Kalki Caribbean Villas. The project, a vacation home community, features 18 three-bedroom/three-bathroom villas.

Gol, a Brazilian airline, has entered into an interline agreement with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The agreement will allow passengers to make reservations on each other's flights and seamlessly check luggage during the process.

Blue Shark Golf Club, designed by legendary golfer Greg Norman, is due to debut in mid 2008 in Nassau, the Bahamas. The project will include luxury hotels, a casino, marina, tennis center, spa, and real estate components.
